Kathleen M Mcewen

Kathleen M. (Kelly) McEwen, 70, of Berkshire, went to be with her God on October 20, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald N. McEwen; her children: Brandie Jo (Aaron) Cain and Heidi Lynne (Scott Brind) Cardone; step-children: Neal (Lisa) McEwen, Kelly (Jay) Schultz, and Tammy (Matt Butler) Schladebeck; her grandchildren Devon, Lincoln, Laney, Layla, Liz, Madison, Ashley, Megan, Tyler, Jarin, Nathan, Korina, Jacob, Lucas, Haley, Zoey, and Lucas; her sister Patty Silvestri and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Harriet (Murphy) Kelly. Kathi was an employee of Tioga County Dept. of Social Services for 25 years and served as a member of the Berkshire Fire Police. She and Ron were members of the Church of the Nazarene in Endicott where Kathi was active in the children's ministry. Her favorite pastimes were reading, enjoying time with Ron and reminiscing about their many wonderful trips to the beach and Ocean City. Although Kathi was small in stature, she had a huge heart and truly cared about everyone. She was kind to alljust dont get her feathers ruffled! Ron, their children and grandchildren were her greatest treasures. Kathis family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, on Saturday, October 27th from 10 am until noon, at which time a celebration of her life will be held. If desired, kindly consider directing memorial to Lourdes Hospice or the Berkshire Fire Police in Memory of Kathleen McEwen.
