Justin 'Jj' E. Gates

Justin E. JJ Gates, 19, of Berkshire, passed peacefully away on April 16, 2013 following a life-long illness. He was predeceased by his infant brother Edward and is survived by his mother and step-father: Esther and Glenn Winn, his grandparents and caregivers: Pat and Burt Craft, grandparents: Roberta and Kevin Hall; brothers and sisters: Harley Atherholt, Tyler Rhodes, Haylee Craft, Leighann Gates, MacKenzie Rhodes; step brothers and sisters: Glenn, Jr., Dillon, Blake, Mersadize , Jennifer and Myia Winn; several aunts uncles and cousins including Bryant Craft, a very special person in JJs life. JJs genetic disorder did not stop him from lighting up a room! He had a very special place in his heart for everyone he met. He enjoyed attending flea markets and setting up with grandma Pat, was very pleased to be awarded his IEP diploma from BOCES and was the happiest kid on the block when Make a Wish Foundation gave him and his family a trip to Disneyland.A Celebration of Justins Life will be held on Friday at 3 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley with Rev.
