June Doris Finsel

June D. Finsel, 84, passed awaypeacefully on Oct. 6, 2013 following a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband Louis R. Finsel, Jr and is survived by her children: Linda (George) Ross, Michael (Cindy) Finsel, Barbara (David) Livingston, Timothy (Linda) Finsel and Jeffrey (Dannielle) Finsel; 12 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren; her brother, Earl (Bonnie) Barnes and her special nieces and nephews.June was born in Binghamton, NY a daughter of the late Earl and Reva (Lawyer) Barnes. She was a long-time member of the Conklin Forks United Methodist Church and a school bus driver for Susquehanna Valley Central School district for many years. Following their retirement, June and Lou established winter residence in Sarasota FL where they made many friends and enjoyed golfing, playing cards and dining out. She also enjoyed camping, reading, cross stitch and knitting and loved her family above all.For the past few years June has resided near her family in Roanoke VA. A funeral service and celebration of Junes life will be held at 11am, Vestal Hills Memorial Park Chapel on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 with Rev. William L.
