Julie D. (Karl) Jordan, a loving and creative soul, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2023, in Sayre, PA, just shy of her 50th birthday. Born on April 26, 1973, in Johnson City, NY, Julie will be remembered for always carrying a smile with her.


Julie will be forever missed by her family, she is survived by her parents, Alta Patterson and stepfather Stuart Patterson, and stepmother Carol Karl. Julie leaves behind her daughter, Jasmine Blaskiewicz, and former husband, R. Keith Jordan. She was a loving stepmother to Keith's children, Kassandra, Jedidiah, Zebulin. Julie was also a caring sister to Scott Karl, Christopher Karl, Shannon McMurray, Jeremiah McMurray, Jodi Patterson, Luke Patterson, and Zeb Patterson. Her adoring grandchildren, Adelle, Zoe, Jaylynn, Estella, and JC Wilder, will remember her for her hugs. Julie is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Julie was welcomed into heaven by her father, Wright Karl, and her grandparents, Milton and Doris Darling, who undoubtedly greeted her with open arms.


Julie's passion for cooking and baking led her to open YaYa Restaurant in Berkshire, where she delighted customers with her culinary creations. Known for making the best blue cheese dressing and her ability to create a dish without a recipe, Julie's cooking was a testament to her creativity and attention to detail. This same dedication to excellence could be seen in her business, Detailed House Cleaning, which she owned and operated for many years.


Julie was known for her love of spending time with children. She had a special bond with young ones and was always eager to lend a listening ear or give a warm hug. Julie's warmth, kindness, and love will continue to be remembered by all who knew her.



Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Julie on Sunday, April 30th at 1pm at the Speedsville Cemetery. A celebration of Julie's life will follow at 24 Poor Shots where family and friends can come together to share stories, laughter, and tears as they remember Julie who touched so many lives.
