Julia A. Koroluck, 96, a long-time and well-known resident of Berkshire, passed away on Feb. 16, 2021. Julia was born in Endicott, NY a daughter of the late Lawrence and Agnes Luszczek. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband, George Corky Koroluck (1989), her sisters Thelma Luszczek, Alice (William) Cyganovich, sister-in-law, Helen (Harry) Scales and granddaughter Amanda Kendrick. She is survived by her loving children: Larry (Connie) Koroluck, Patricia (Richard) Hover, Susan (Timothy) Sheahan, and Kathleen Koroluck; her brother Chester (Elizabeth) Luszczek; 8 devoted grandchildren, whom she loved very much: Russell Rusty (Eileen) Koroluck, Laura Pixie Koroluck, Sandra (Keith) Flesher, Kenneth (Susan) Hover, Timothy Hover, Melissa (Jessica) Sheahan, Timothy (Ashley) Sheahan and Matthew (Marissa) Sheahan. Twelve great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Julia has been a devoted member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Newark Valley for many, many years and a member of the Rosary Society. Julia was a graduate of Newark Valley High School class of 1942. An excellent cook and very proud of her heritage, she was a great contributor to the annual Polish Dinner at church as well as the annual chicken Barbeque. Having grown up on the family farm, she was definitely not averse to hard work. While being a homemaker was her priority, she also assisted her husband in the operation of their hardware store, Patch Brothers in Berkshire. Working in her garden, enjoying her flowers and playing pinochle with her family was Julias relaxation time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on SATURDAY, MAY 8, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Rock St., Newark Valley followed by burial in Hope Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley Friday Evening, May 7th from 6-8 pm. Memories may be written in Julias guestbook at macphersonfh.com
