Judy A Vannordstrand

Judy A. VanNordstrand, 71, of Newark Valley, passed away on Sept. 22, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband James VanNordstrand, her daughter and son-in-law Jamie and Tim Brown of Dayton, NY, her son Jason VanNordstrand, of Newark Valley and her grandchildren: Jacob, Justin and Joshua Brown. Also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law: Joseph and Bonnie Hanrahan, sister and brother-in-law: Mary Kay and Danny Archambeault, all of Horseheads and her nephews: Rejean and Collin Archambeault, Sean Hanrahan and niece Kristen Cleveland. Judy was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Kathryn Hanrahan.Judy was a graduate of Mansfield University and earned her Master in Education from Elmira College. She retired from the Owego Apalachin School District where she was a Middle School Teacher for many years. She was also an active member of the Newark Valley Fire Company Auxiliary and served as Treasurer.Judy's family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St, Newark Valley on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 from 11 am until 12 noon.
