Josephine A. 'Jodie' Williams, 64, a life-long resident of Owego, passed away early Wednesday morning in Binghamton, following an extended illness. Jodie was born at home, in Owego, on Feb. 8, 1945. She was a daughter of the late George B. and Maxine R. (Whitmore) Jones. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jim (Robert J.) Williams, her son, Eric (Kelly) Williams and daughter Kristina (Roberto) Lopez. Also surviving are her 4 precious grandchildren, Karyn, Kendra, Haydee and Robert, her sisters: Ruth Struble and JoAnn (David) Pierce, her brother, George Jones and several nieces and nephews. Jodie was predeceased by her son, Benj Williams and daughter Karen Williams. Jodie will be remembered for her many acts of kindness, her caring and loving way and her quick sense of humor.At her request there will be no services.
