Joseph W. French

Joseph W. French, 73, passed away on March 3, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Regina; his children Jodi (Dennis) York, Joe (Donna) French, Betty Joe French, David (Sunah) French, and Jason (Cheryl) Bailey; 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; brother Jack (Donna) French; many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Marion French, sister Judy Duran, and brothers Jim and Jerry French. Joe loved the outdoors, and enjoyed camping, fishing, and kayaking. He spent many hours in the "man cave" that he built in his backyard. He could oftentimes be found outside working on and riding his tractor. Joe loved watching Nascar and was especially a fan of Bill Elliot. He loved his Milwaukees Best, country music, and going square dancing, but his favorite thing to do was laugh. He cared about others and was always willing to lend a hand. Joe will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. A time of sharing and celebration of Joes life will be held on Sunday, March 11th at the American Legion in Maine, NY at 1 oclock. MacPherson Funeral Home is kindly assisting the family.
