Joseph A. Signorile

Those we love, dont go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, so loved, so missed so very dear Joseph A. Signorile, 83, of Zephyrhills, Florida and formerly of Newark Valley, NY passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Joe as he was affectionately known, by his family and friends was born on July 24, 1935 in Oswego, New York a son of the late James V. and Anna (Curci) Signorile. Following his high school graduation, Joe proudly served his country with the US Air Force from 1953 1957. On May 9, 1957, he married Else Grohs and together they have shared 62 years of marriage. Joe enjoyed playing golf and softball although many will remember him for his 40 years of serving as a Meat Manager for Hollenbecks in Newark Valley. His smile, laugh and huge heart will be missed by so many. Joe will be greatly missed by his wife Else; his children: Janet Signorile of Newark Valley; Angela Signorile of Zephyrhills, Florida; Mary Lou (Patrick) Payne of N. Jackson, Ohio; James "Jim" (Calley) Signorile of Aurora, Colorado; a sister Anne Walpole of Oswego; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Joe was welcomed into heaven by his parents; his son Wolfe; brothers Fran and James; sisters Grace, Virginia and Mary. Abiding with Joes wishes there will be no services.
