John P. Wasowicz

John P. Wasowicz, 59, of Lisle, passed away on June 26, 2014 following a period of declining health. John is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rose (Fontano) Wasowicz, son Peter Wasowicz and Johns faithful canine companion, Stanley. Also surviving are his sisters Irene Fillio and Ann-Marie Lixfield, brother-in-law Billy Lixfield, nephew, Jason Sweet and his girlfriend Erica Scales and great nieces Piper and Paige. John was born in Hudson, NY a son of the late Walter and Mary (Hrybonhryconak) Wasowicz. He was a sales manager for the former Rickels Flooring in Johnson City for many years. Some of his hobbies included gardening, fishing, watching the NY Yankees and NY Giants and trying to fix things. His treasured moments were those spent with family and friends.Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at the Center Lisle Cemetery on Thursday, July 3, at 10 am.
