John Nicholas Gregrow Formerly of Newark ValleyThe Lord called his faithful servant John home on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, after a valiant 6 year fight. He passed peacefully at his home in Apache Junction, AZ. with his wife and children by his side.. John is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Bonnie J. Gregrow, his son and daughter-in-law Kyle and Michelle and their sons Kamren and Kolbie, his daughter and son-in-law Mindy and Johnny Bundrick and their children, Kailey, Mackenzie, Cayden, Riley and Bennett, several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. John was born on June 26, 1949, a son of the late Nicholas V. and Waneta N. Gregrow. He was a graduate of Newark Valley High School; a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1968 1970 and a retired Tioga County Deputy Sheriff with 30 years of faithful service. He was a life member of the American Legion, a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Interlake, NY and Mountain View Lutheran Church, Apache Junction, AZ. A memorial service and celebration of Johns life was held in Arizona. Additionally, a celebration of his life will be held in NY at a later date.
