Jerald E. Rosenberger

Jerald E. Rosenberger, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 3, 2011. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Nancy (Hoyt) Rosenberger, his children Vicky Wheeler McCarthy, Robert Wheeler, Len (Mary) Wheeler, Julie (Jason) Benjamin and Mary Wheeler. Jerry adored his grandchildren and took great delight in watching them grow. His 14 grandchildren are: Alisa, Taylor, Caleb, Kylie, Melanie, Corey (his very special right-hand man), Michael, Christopher, Gabriel, Abigail, Daniel, Courtney, Stephen and Emma; great grandchildren are: Grimm, Annalynn and Audrey. Jerry is also survived by his siblings: Judy (Bill) Corson, Joyce Butler, Jenny (Frank) Jandecka, Jessie (Wayne) Andrews, Jada Rosenberger, Janet Hildebrant, John (Mary) Rosenberger and many nieces, nephews and cousins including Arno (Slugger) Rosenberger.Jerry was born in Endicott on May 17, 1944 one of the 10 children of John and Anna (Gosline) Rosenberger. He was predeceased by siblings Jane Graham, Chris Rosenberger and other family members including: Ryan Wheeler, Danielle Waterman, Weldon and Marion (best friend) Wait, Ella Hoyt, Donald Hoyt and Janet Kuenzli. Jerrys love for his family knew no bounds. It was followed closely by his love of farming, his cattle and pet goose George. His family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley. A celebration of his life will follow at 7 pm with Rev. James Willard officiating.
