Jean Ann Noto

February 15, 1940 — September 26, 2021

On September 26th, 2021 our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and "Gigi", Jean Ann (King) Noto went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Jean was born on February 15, 1940 in Sayre, Pennsylvania and was raised in Owego, New York. Jean spent most of her life in kitchens or retail working to provide for her family. After retirement, Jean continued to watch and help raise her grandchildren. Jean enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, gardening, and playing cards. In recent years, she found joy in nature documentaries about primates. Most of all, Jean enjoyed being surrounded by her family, reminiscing her favorite memories. Jeans laughter, strong will, straight-forwardness and sharp wit will be missed by all who knew her. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Cora E. (Benson) King and Horace J. King, brothers Roy, Russell, Andrew and Micheal King, first born son, Asher Charles Hadley, aunt and uncle Andrew "Gene" and Loretta King and nephew Wayne King. Jean is survived by her children Kelli (Robert) Nelson, Ricki Hadley, Vicki Hadley (Jim Corwin), and Lori Hadley. Her grandchildren, Kayla (Travis) French, Alyssa Jean (Derek Hicks), Holly, Ryan and Eric Nelson, Jeanne (Levi) Halstead and TJ (Megan) Corwin. Jean was fortunate to see the birth of six great grandchildren, Ariah, Cora and Trace French, Ava and Colton Halstead and Blair Corwin. She also leaves behind her siblings, Patricia Arnold, Harold King and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will be holding a private luncheon at the VWF in Owego, New York on Saturday October 2nd and will be accepting other friends and family at 3:30 to pay respects. In lieu of flowers, Jean would have preferred donations to be made to either the American Kidney Foundation (https://www.kidneyfund.org) or the Orangutan Foundation International (Oragutan.org/donate/). .
