Jane Marion Brill

Jane Jayne Marion Brill (Pitcher), 82, of Endicott, New York, passed away on August 12, 2018. Jane was born in Newark Valley on January 29, 1936 and graduated from Newark Valley High School in 1954. Jane was married to Elwood Brill on December 13, 1969; they were married 22 years. She worked as a tax analyst for H&R Block for over 20 years and was a production control analyst for General Electric for over 20 years. She enjoyed puzzles, bowling, softball, and golf. Jane is survived by her four children; Donna Parsons, Kenneth (Linda) Arnold, Mitchell Arnold, and Peggy Jo Hodge, her five grandchildren; Corey Hodge, Brooke (Dwayne) Hodge, Erica (Jay) Weatherstone, Christopher Arnold, and Amanda Hodge, great-grandson Peyton Stewart, sister Betty Pitcher, brother James Pitcher, and several nieces and nephews. Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Brill, her parents James M. Pitcher and Margaret P. Pitcher, and her sisters Nancy (Richard) Welch and Doris (James) Ridgeway. In keeping with her personal wishes, a memorial celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 15 from 4-7 PM at Close Quarters on 1401 Pine Street in Endicott. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Lourdes Hospice 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
