Ila P. Dickerson

Ila P. Dickerson, 79, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday evening, Sept. 1, 2012. Ila is survived by her children, Ralph, Jr., Michael, Donna and Marlene and 2 grandsons. Born on June 9, 1933 in the Town of Maine, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Pearl (Swan) Dyer. Her husband, Ralph, sisters: Betty Lane, Iris Rossi and grandson Michael also predeceased her. Ila was a graduate of UE High School and a member of First United Methodist Church, Newark Valley. Her family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley on Wednesday, Sept. 5th from 10-11 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am. Her pastor, Rev. Nancy Adams,will officiate. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley.
