Howard Witter, Sr

Howard L Witter, Sr., age 86, of Maine, NY passed away January 18, 2022 at his Florida home under the loving care of his family. He was predeceased by his loving wife Barbara of more 50 years. Born on February 22, 1935 in Sidney, NY to Howard Boyd and Clara Emma (Hubbard) Witter. Howard was a retired Technical Engineer for IBM and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a part-time resident of Citrus County Florida since 2009. He was a founder and member of the Mid State Antique Stock Car Club, a member of the Maine, NY Volunteer Fire Department and Mountain Trail Bowhunters Club. He is survived by his son Howard L Witter, Jr. and his wife Suzanne K Witter; three sisters, Carol and her husband Robert Thompson, Gail and her husband Russell Elwood and Anita Randolph; one brother, Thomas and his wife Susan Witter; two grandchildren, Nicholas Lowe and Rebecca Sue Lowe, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at the Newark Valley Fire Station on June 11, 2022 @1:00 pm.
