Howard T. Schoonover

Howard T. Schoonover, 72, of Oxford, formerly of Richford, passed away on Sept. 8, 2015. Born on Feb. 28, 1943 in Painesville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Howard S. and Ruth E. (Hanks) Schoonover. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Catherine (Cathe)(Miller) Schoonover and his children: Howard Allen and Thomas Scott Schoonover, Kim Earnhart and Bryan Miller, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Howard served in the US Air Force from 1960-1964. He was employed as a tool and die maker in the Binghamton area. A Memorial Service will be held in the auditorium at the NYS Home for Veterans in Oxford, NY at 11 am on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015. MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley is assisting the family.
