Howard C. Carter, 76, of Newark Valley, passed away on Aug 5, 2015. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Genevieve, children, Edward (Deb), Howard, Florence (the late Robert) Hall, and Rebecca Whitmarsh (Bill); sisters: Carol (Mike Conway) French and Charlotte (Clayton) Wildrick, 12 grandchildren:John (Laural), Kristi (Jason), Howie, Brian, Cinnamon (Jonathon), Caleb (Amber), Jenny, Candy (Junior), Danny (Kola), Kyle (Jayme), Randy and Jacob; 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins.Howard was an avid NASCAR Fan and loved to fish, camp and spend time with his family. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at the Chapel of Vestal Hills Memorial Park. MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley is assisting with arrangements.
