Helen Ward

Helen Ward, 95, of Montour Falls, NY,passed peacefully on March 15, 2014 at Seneca View Nursing Facility where she has resided for the past 6 years. Helen is survived by several nieces and nephews including her special nephews: John, James and Marvin Ward. Born on March 27, 1918 in Waverly, NY, she was a daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Denslow) Ward. She was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Ward, brother and sister-in-law, Irvin and Mary Ward and sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Bill Harrington. She was employed as a medical secretary for 36 years in Montour Falls. A Memorial Service will be held at MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St Newark Valley at 10 am on Saturday, March 22, 2014.
