She loved attending her kids and grandkids many school activities, taking various trips across the states with family, and camping during the summers along the St. Lawrence. She retired from the Newark Valley Central School District in 1998 after 30 years of service. She would often say that so many of the students would remember her from the HS Office as "Mrs. Marsh" or "Mom". Helens family were so very grateful for the extraordinary care provided to her by so many, including her physicians: Dr. Howard Silcoff, Dr. James Gaffney, and Dr. Melissa Thibault; Lourdes At Home nursing and rehabilitation staff. A special appreciation to her caregivers, Rosalie & family, Angel, Martha, Kathleen, Brandy, Jordi, Kerri. Also, a special thank you to her dear friends the Frenchs, the Wrights, the Stephens; and neighbors Stewarts, Umikers, and Joe Onofrio to name a few. Helens family will receive friends on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from noon to 2pm at MacPherson Funeral Home. Services will follow directly. The service will also be live streamed at https://my.gather.app/remember/helen-marsh.
