Helen Marie Cobler

Helen Marie Cobler, 92, of Berkshire passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday October 27, 2018. Helen is survived by her daughters Patsi (Karl) Spoonhower, Maryellen Spoonhower, Susie (George) Decker, Nancy (Davey Westfall) Stephens; adopted son Randy Wood; 20 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Waiting for her arrival in Heaven, her children Stanley R. Dunckley Jr. and Marscha (Gary) Allen have welcomed her home. Helen was also predeceased by the father of her children Stanley R. Dunckley Sr.Helen was born on May 8th, 1926 to Bernie and Grace Wood in Big flats, NY. In her early life she worked in factories but later found her true calling as a home health aide. She loved to take care of people and continued to do so even into her 70s. There is no doubt she was the glue that held her family together. Everything she did was done in the most graceful way and she thought it was so important to teach her children to love, forgive, and to treat all with kindness. Helen cherished her family and many close friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.As there will be no public service, the family would ask that you spend a little extra time with your family just as Helen would want you to do. Helens family would like to extend a special thank you to her grandchildren and special care givers, Shayna and Kylieray, and the caring help of Davey Westfall and Amber Smith for making it possible for her to stay home.
