Hazel Gump

Hazel Gump, 84, of Johnson City and formerly of Newark Valley, passed away at her home, with her family by her side, on August 2, 2014. She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Millie Ward; her husband, Fred Gump; 9 siblings; daughters: Millie, Patricia, Brenda; step-sons: Rick and Fred, grandsons: Joey and Stevie; beloved canine companion, Savana.She is survived by her sons: John (Wanda) and Steve Clemins, step-son, John Gump, special niece, Lin Ingrahm, and many grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her faithful canine companion, Baby never left her side.Hazel was born in West VA and resided in Ohio for several years before deciding to make NY her home. She was a Regular at BINGO gameswhereverlived a wonderful life, adored her family and would travel to them whenever she could. Hazel will be greatly missed.A period of visitation and sharing of memories will be held at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley on Friday from 3-5 pm.
