Guy L. Peck

Guy L. Peck Sr., 83, formally of Corning, NY passed away peacefully on June 29, 2023, in Newark Valley, NY. He was born to the late Leeland and Frieda (Haight) Peck in Tyrone, PA on June 7, 1940.

Guy is survived by his loving children, Matt, Jamie, Mike, Teresa, and Brenda, who remember him as a dedicated father. His devotion to his children was only rivaled by the love he held for his sixteen grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and happiness. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Pauline, and his sons, Guy Jr. and Mark.

Guy was a hardworking man who spent many years working for the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) as a truck driver in Waverly, NY.

He was a man of many interests and talents. He loved fishing and spent many hours by the water. Guy’s hands were rarely idle, often found crafting beautiful walking sticks or building model airplanes, which showcased his attention to detail and patience. Guy was a car racing enthusiast as well, a sport that mirrored his own drive and competitive spirit.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire those he left behind. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
