Guy K. Ehn, 62, of Newark Valley, passed peacefully away on March 29, 2013.Guy is survived by his loving wife, Jean; his devoted children: Lynn and Jeff Greene, David Ehn and Erin Hildebrand; his cherished grandchildren: Emma and Jordan Greene; brother Eric ( Kimberly) Ehn; nephews and niece: Daniel (Madelyn) Ehn,Lisa Ehn (Richard Antoniolli) and Karl Ehn. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Mary Tingos and brother-in-law, Kosta Tingos. He was predeceased by his parents Axel and Betty Ehn, father-in-law, Gust Tingos and brother-in-law, Michical Tingos.Guy was a longtime member of CrossPoint Community Church in Binghamton and over the years has served as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader and elder of the church. He loved his Lord, his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He was a US Army veteran, serving in Vietnam and began working at IBM, Owego in 1980 retiring from Lockheed Martin in 2009. A sign on his door said: Born to fish, forced to work. Guy loved fishing and camping. His favorite place was Lewey Lake State Campgrounds in the Adirondacks and his greatest joy was being Papa to Emma and Jordan. He was so happy he was able to pass his love of fishing and camping on to his children and grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at CrossPoint Community Church, 1 Grand Blvd., Binghamton, 13905 at 11 am on Saturday, April 6, 2013 with Pastor Marshall Sorber officiating. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to his church in memory of Guy K. Ehn.
