Grant W. Livermore, 86 of Brandon, FL (formerly of Seneca Falls, NY) joined his heavenly Father and beloved wife, Hazel, on December 2, 2014. Grant is survived by his children Wayne (Paula) Paddock, Richard (Pat) Paddock, sister Dorla LaCroix, brothers Basil (Dodie) Livermore and Kenneth (Tealah) Livermore, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grand-children, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Grant was the son of the late Harry and Emma Livermore and brother of the late Harry Jr, Doris and Barbara. Grant proudly served in the US Marine Corp during WW2 and the Korean War. As a younger man, Grant traveled the country trading horses. He was a well-known contractor and employee of the NYSDOT until his retirement. He was a life member and past governor of the Moose Lodge in Seneca Falls, NY, member of the American Legion, and VFW. After retiring to Florida he enjoyed attending the weekly antiques and collectables auctions and selling his wares at the Big Top Flea Market. Friends are invited to a period of visitation at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St., Newark Valley on Tuesday, December 9, from 12:30 pm until the time of the service and celebration of his life at 1:30. Military Honors will be accorded. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Highland Cemetery Association c/o Steve Kotula 1643 Rt. 79 Richford, NY 13835. Thank you for the love you have given us all. We will all miss you so very much, but we know your feet have now touched The Green Green Grass of Home.
