Grant Michael Spencer

Those we have held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever ..... Grant Michael Spencer, blessed our lives on March 26, 2022 and our hearts were broken on July 14, 2022 with his sudden passing. Although he was in our lives for a short time, his smile and laugh will forever remain with us. Grant leaves his tiny handprint on so many lives ~ he will be loved and missed by his parents: Christopher and Paulette (Estabrooks) Spencer; his paternal grandparents Todd and Josephine Spencer; maternal grandparents: Michael and Lori Butts; his great grandparents: William Corson II; Patricia Hall, Vivian Rinker, & Wesley and Lorna Butts. He will also be missed by his aunts and uncles: Cody and Marcy Spencer; Matthew Butts and fianc Letizia Cascio; Philip Butts and fianc Ashley Foster, Denise Butts and fianc Daniel Stanton, Jr., many great aunts and uncles; His cousins Marcy Spencer and Gabriella Butts along with his canine siblings Trapper, Abby and Aero. Grant was greeted in heaven by his maternal great grandmother Judy Corson; paternal great grandparents: Mary Jane and Robert Spencer; maternal great grandparents Paulette Fry (Hall) and Frank Hall; Lou Rinker; and a special second cousin Matthew Hall. With a twinkle in his eye, Grant had a way of making so many smile. His presence gave great strength to his dad as he underwent his chemo treatments. Grant was his dads right hand little man as he plowed and mowed hay. He also was his moms "little turkey" and gardening buddy. "If ever there is tomorrow when were not together.. there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if were apart.. Ill always be with you."Winnie the Pooh (A.A. Milne) A period of visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20th from 12 2 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St., Newark Valley.
