Gertrude A Creeley

Gertrude A. Creeley, 94, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018. Gert is survived by her devoted children: Charles and Michelle Creeley, Judith L. Mayer, Rose Lorraine and Leonard Terenzi as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Laura Vargason, her husband Arnold, 5 children: George, Richard and Arnold Creeley, Elizabeth Marshall, Cathy Warner; 5 siblings: Ralph Vargason, Bev Cordilione, Carmeta (Ileen) Berlin, Betty Race, Marie Woodmansee, and her grandson Larry Goodrich. Gert was devoted to her husband, children and entire family. She worked diligently all of her life. In addition to caring for her family, she had worked at the former Britts Dept. Store and at Hollenbecks Grocery in Newark Valley. She had beautiful flower gardens and enjoyed word search puzzles and her pets. Gerts family is most grateful for the superior care given to her while she resided at Ideal Senior Living. Her family will received friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home on Monday, Aug 27th from 2-4 pm. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Gerts Life will follow there at 4 oclock.
