George E. Rutkowski

George E. Rutkowski, 34,of Maine, NY and for the past several years of St. Petersburg, FL, passed awaysuddenly, in his sleep, on June 30, 2008. George is survived by his beloved son Reece Johnus Rutkowski who was not only his pride and joy but the light of his life. He is also survived by his loving family: parents, Edward and Donna Rutkowski, brother, Sam Rutkowski, sister-in-law, Sarah Rutkowski and cherished niece, Sadie Rutkowski. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.George was a graduate of Maine-Endwell High School, class of 93. While in high school he participated in football and baseball. He also enjoyed playing racquet ball and was a loyal METS fan. His heart overflowed with love for his family and he will be remembered as a person who was always more willing to give than to receive.A time of sharing of memories and remembering the special gift George was to all will be held on Saturday from 11am until 2 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St., Newark Valley. A funeral service and celebration of his life will follow there at 2 PM. Interment will follow in the Maine Cemetery.
