Gary S. Raymond

Gary S. Raymond, 64, of Newark Valley, passed away at his home on January 3, 2013 following a period of declining health. Gary is survived by his children: Jennifer Malarkey, Kenneth (Jennifer) Raymond, Patrick and Daniel Raymond; sisters: Billie (Barrett) Vaughn, Linda (Richard) Chernak; brothers: Sam (Judy) Raymond, Tim (Karla) Raymond; grandchildren: Shannon, Daniel, Kendra, Kennedy, Molly, Kiera and Kayla.Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Gary was predeceased by his Parents: Kenneth R. and Leatha Raymond and his son-in-law, Gerald Malarkey. He was a former employee of Howland Brothers, Berkshire, the Ladder Factory and Newark Valley School System. His hobbies included, fishing, hunting,camping and working with horses. Gary also operated a Produce Stand on Day Hollow Rd. for many summers. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, January 6th at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley with Rev. Nancy J.
