Gabriel P Bennendum

Gabriel Philip Bennedum, 36, of Candor and formerly of Binghamton, passed away on Jan. 28, 2015.Gabe is survived by his loving mother, Dianne Galliher, his father Philip (Marsha) Bennedum, his brothers: Peter J., Nicholas, and Christopher Bennedum and sister Jaimie Bishop. Also surviving are his nephew Jack T. Bennedum, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Although Gabe had suffered many illnesses from a very early age, he graduated from Whitney Point High School, completed several courses at Broome Community College and remained a strong and compassionate individual.He enjoyed a wide variety of music and had a great fondness for animals which led him to hold on tightly to his hopes and dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Gabes family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley on Monday from noon until 2 pm at which time Rev. Timothy Middleton will officiate at a funeral service and celebration of Gabes Life.
