Flora K. Kouf

Flora K. Kouf, 90, of Newark Valley, went Home to be with her Lord and was reunited with the love of her life, her husband Donald, on February 22, 2021. She is survived by her children Jan Laughlin and Michael (Marie Major) Kouf, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son-in-law David Laughlin. Flora graduated salutatorian from Newark Valley Central Schools. Her quick wit and clever remarks always brought a smile to those around her. Flora loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and always savored time spent together with family. A celebration of Flora's life will be held at the Newark Valley United Methodist Church on June 5, 2021 at 1 PM with the burial at Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley, NY to follow. MacPherson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. For those wishing, memorials may be sent to the Newark Valley 1st UMC, 70 S.
