Eva M. Barrett-MosherFormerly Of Newark ValleyEva M. Mosher, 79, born on April 21, 1929, went to her resting place on Sept. 22, 2008 following a brief illness. She is survived by her children: Sandra Borden, William Cody, M. Ray Cody, Sharon Wilcox, Raymond Barrett, Elma Duff, Rebecca Hoskins, Bradley Barrett, her step children, Grace Horton, James Barrett, Ester Thomas, Frances Parker, Stanley, Donny and Birthamae Mosher, her sister, Gwendolyn Lewis, 44 Grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Eva was a very kind woman and dearly loved her family. She will be greatly missed.A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley with Fr. David Hritcko, a dear friend of the family, officiating. Interment will be at 1 pm in the West Hill Cemetery, Hornby, NY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service
