Esther B. Henson

Esther B. Hensonformerly of EndwellEsther B. Henson age 85, formerly of Marion Apartments, Endwell, NY, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009, at Willow Point Nursing Home where she has resided for the past several years. Esther was born May 25, 1924 in Dallas, PA, a daughter of the late George and Ethel (Straley) Ryman. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene L. Henson; her sisters, Marie and Evelyn. Esther is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Boucounis of Endwell. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Janet (Dan) Williams, Larry Carroll, James A. (Merieca)) Carroll, Jr. and several cousins. Esther had been an employee of the NY Telephone Co., Montgomery Ward and The Sheltered Workshop in Binghamton.Her family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St., Newark Valley on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A funeral service and celebration of her life will follow at 1 p.m. Pastor Mike Zopff, of Central Baptist Church, Hastings, NY will officiate.
