Erford P. Bunk Ellis

Erford P. Bunk Ellis, 70, of Lisle, passed away on January 25, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn Ellis; daughter Jodi M. Ellis; grandchildren, Eric P. Neilson and Cameron M. Neilson; brother Ed Ellis; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Erford and Pearl Ellis; son Eric Paul Ellis; brothers Harvey Decker, John Ellis, Lewis Ellis; sisters Shirley Knapp and Iva Lou Hobert. Bunk worked for Broome county highway department for 34 years. He was a member of the Cayuga Beagle Club and Glendale Beagle Club, and a member of Ridge Rider Snow Mobile Club for 29 years. He enjoyed hunting and raising beagles. He was a fan of NASCAR, and raced his own dwarf car for 5 years. Bunk loved his family, and especially cherished time spent with his grandsons. A graveside service for Bunk will be held at a later date. MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, NY is assisting the family with arrangements.
