Else M. Ruediger, 98, a former resident of Newark Valley, passed away on Nov. 3, 2011 at James G. Johnston Nursing Home in Johnson City after a long illness.Else was born in Germany on Oct. 30, 1913 a daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm Max and Marie Anna (Shlaugk) Fanke. She is survived by her sister in Germany, Anni Fanke and her grandchildren Christian Ruediger, Seattle, WA and Lauren Klein of Commack, NY.Services were private and under the guidance of MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, NY.
