Ella Anita Talcott

Ella Anita Talcott, 87 passed away peacefully early Monday morning June 9, 2008. Ella was born March 23, 1921in Cuyler, NY the daughter of Charles and Ella Sawyer Ike. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond J. Talcott, and her daughter Sandra Brown. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jill and Harold Tompkins, Richford, her sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Lillian Talcott, Macon GA, Jan Talcott, Jeffrey and Karen Talcott all of Richford, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Anita enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles, but most of all she enjoyed sharing in the life of her family. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 9 to 11AM at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St. Newark Valley. A funeral service and celebration of her life will follow at 11AM with Rev. Elwin and Rev Marian Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery Richford.Memorials in memory of Mrs. Talcott may be directed to the Good Shepherd Living Care Fund, 80 Fairview Ave. Binghamton NY 13904.
