Elizabeth Tish Marshall

Elizabeth J. 'Tish' Marshall, 59, of Newark Valley, passed peacefully in her sleep on Octber 27, 2009 at her home.She is survived by her dear Mother, Gertrude Creeley, her children, Dawn (Jim) Chase, Rhonda (Rex) Barden, Becky Marshall, Michael (Kendra) Marshall and husband Robert Marshall, USN, Ret. Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren, sisters, Rose (Len) Terenzi, Judy Mayer, brothers Arnold 'Butch' (Debbie) Creeley, Jr., George 'Pete' Creeley, Charles 'Chuck' (Michelle) Creeley, Dick (Bonnie) Creeley, brother-in-law, Ronald Warner and her good friend Janice Gwardyak. She was preceeded in death by her father Arnold Creeley, Sr. and sister Cathy A. Warner.Tish was born on Sept 7, 1950 in Endicott. She was a graduate of Newark Valley High School and Broome Community College and was a former employee of Volunteers of America in Binghamton. She enjoyed ceramics, puzzels, camping, her flower bed and birdwatching. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held at 12 noon on Friday at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley. Rev. James T. Willard will officiate.
