Edna Hendrickson

Edna Hendrickson, 86, of Newark Valley and formerly of Candor, passed away on July 20, 2008 following an illness. She was born on Sept. 19, 1921 in Tunnel, NY. She was predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Thelma Brown, her husband, Francis, sons, Lloyd and Gene, daughter, Claudia, and brothers, David, Clayton and Lloyd. Edna is survived by her daughters, Julia Moore, Delores King, Marie Andrew, Patricia Craft, son, Neil Hendrickson, brothers Dale, Donald, Keith and Roy LaVerne Brown, sister, Nancy Ouimet, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.Edna enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and being an AVON representative.Family and friends will gather on Friday at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley from 10 to 11 am. A funeral service and celebration of Ednas life will follow there at 11 am. Rev. Nancy Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.
