Doris E. Spangenburg

Doris Eleanor (Page) Spangenburg, 92, passed away on May 8, 2015. Doris is survived by her children, whom she was so very proud of: Jerry (Harriet), Noel (Linda), Joel (Terri), Joy (John) and Shale; her 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.Born on Nov. 5, 1922 in Stockholm, NY, Doris was a daughter of the late Leland and Avis (LaTrace) Page. She was a long-time, faithful and devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Newark Valley, always giving freely of her time and talents. As a dedicated follower of our Lord Jesus, she never missed an opportunity to profess her faith, share her beliefs, and encourage all to accept Jesus as their personal Savior. Services for Doris will be private at the MacPherson Funeral Home in Newark Valley with her Pastor, Rev. Michael Spiegel, officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Doris family is so very grateful to her many faithful friends and the dedicated staff of Willow Point for the loving care provided to her.
