January 27, 1922 — April 23, 2010

Donna Jane (Titus) Salzano, 88 yrs, died peacefully at Vestal Nursing Center April 23, 2010, joining her husband of 67 yrs, Jerry Salzano and infant son, Vincent. She lived her whole life in Endicott & Berkshire. Donna worked at Hamlins & Corner Drug Stores, Endicott for many years, also Endicott-Johnson, and she did her part on the WWII home front working on blueprints at IBM. She loved nothing more than being in her garden, doing a jigsaw puzzle, and summer visits to Sylvan Beach. She leaves behind her daughters Sally Crosetto of Berkshire, and Candita (Rick) Lee, of North East, MD, her grandsons Louis (Linda) Crosetto, and Michael Prosman, her great-grandchildren Jason (Amanda) Crosetto, Angela (Kevin) Botsford, and Cassandra (Dan) Vasquez. Donna was blessed with five great-great-grandchildren: Logan Crandall, Logan Botsford, Ella Crosetto, Kyla Jane Botsford, and Chase Smolinsky. She is also survived her brother, Emory (Elsie) Titus, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St, Newark Valley on Monday, April 25, from 12:30 to 2:30 PM. A funeral service and celebration of Donnas life will follow at 2:30 pm with Rev. William A. Moorby officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Friends who wish may kindly consider a donation to American Lung Association, 155 Washington Ave #2, Albany, NY 12210 in loving memory of donna Salzano. The family gives grateful thanks to Vestal Nursing Center staff, particularly Willow East, for the compassionate care given to Donna the past 4 years.
