Donna E. Spohn

Donna E. Spohn, 43, passed away on June 30, 2012 following a long illness.Donna is survived by her loving husband, Jason Spohn, their children: Samantha Roetzer, Colby J. and Dominique M. Spohn, Bryant Craft, Dustin Shoemaker and Cheyenne Bousson. Also surviving is her beloved mother, Claudette (Seychel) Waugh, her cherished brother and sister, Richard Waugh and Claudette (Jeff) Singer, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and Jasons family: Belinda Jablonowski, James (Sereta) Spohn and Paul Jablonowski.Donna was born on Dec. 1, 1968 in Rockville Center, NY. Her dear father, Richard Waugh, predeceased her. Prior to making Owego her home with Jason, she worked with her Dad at the family restaurant, Sammys Inferno Pizza in Levittown and became an expert cook and pizza maker. Donna was a graduate of Sanford H. Calhoun High School in Merrick, NY. She was an amazing woman, with a heart of gold, devoted to all of her family and loved to work in her vegetable garden.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm, Thursday, July 5 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Newark Valley with Rev. William A. Moorby officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St., Newark Valley on Thursday from 11-1 PM.
