Dennis M. Hutcheson

Dennis M. Hutcheson, 51, of Newark Valley, passed away peacefully, and with a smile, at his home, on May 16, 2013 following a courageous battle against mesothelioma. Although this disease ravaged his body, it never overcame his spirit!Dennis was born on Sept. 8, 1961 in Johnson City, NY a son of the late Rexford P. and Kathleen Hutcheson. He attended Maine-Endwell High School and Broome Community College and was a former employee of Dovatron Manufacturing in Kirkwood, NY. Despite resulting disabilities from a motorcycle accident, Dennis persevered, and became, an extremely independent individual, very much enjoying life and treasuring the many friends he made. He was admired and loved by many.Dennis is survived by his brother, Mark Hutcheson, his aunts and uncle, Barbara and Eugene Kidder, Lorabelle Kasper, several cousins and his dear friend, whom he considered his second Mom, Joan Babcock and her family.In complying with his wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.Dennis and his family are extremely grateful to the many kind folks who stopped by to say hello and to Lourdes Hospice for their exceptional care.
