Clifford C. Beebe

Clifford C. Beebe, 69, of Berkshire, passed away suddenly on March 1, 2026. Born on May 28, 1956, Clifford was a son of the late Leo and Agnes (Jones) Beebe. His life was marked by laughter, hard work, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Jason (Ashley) Beebe, Candy (Floyd) Palmeter, and Daniel Hall, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Clifford also leaves behind a loving circle of siblings: Robin (Bernie) Bennett, Mark (Kari) Fuller, David Fuller, Loretta (Carl) Gerst, Crissy (Steve) Weismore, and Anita (Jim) Popek, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Clifford was predeceased by his loving wife, Sharon (Kithcart) Beebe.

After retiring from Cornell University as an Animal Technician, he continued to stay active. Together with his son Jason, he operated their family farm, tending to his beloved cows and devoting himself to the land. He enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found hunting when not working the farm. Clifford also had a deep passion for stock car racing, which he enjoyed as a weekend family sport, creating lasting memories at the track with those he loved most.

Known among his friends and family as a jokester, he had the ability to bring laughter into any room. His antics and pranks were his way of showing affection — if Clifford picked on you, it meant he liked you.

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig Street, Newark Valley, New York, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will take place immediately following. Clifford will be laid to rest next to his wife Sharon in the springtime when the fields and pastures have turned green.
