Cherylee A. Wright

Cherylee A. Wright, 72, of Candor, passed away on December 1, 2024, following an extended illness. She was born on October 18, 1952, the daughter of Harold and Lorena (Bell) Wright and devoted her life to nurturing the minds of young people and enveloping her family with unwavering affection and support.

Cherylee's warmth and kindness were a comfort to all who knew her. She took great pride in her role as a substitute teacher at Candor Central Schools. Her commitment to education extended beyond the classroom as she enjoyed tutoring, guiding countless students towards brighter futures with patience and encouragement. Her passion for teaching was only matched by her love for her family.

Survived by her loving sons, Aaron Wright and his wife Courtney, and Sean Wright, Cherylee was the cornerstone of her family. Her guidance and love shaped the lives of her children, leaving a legacy of compassion and strength that will continue to flourish in their own journeys. She will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephew Ashley, Erica, and Chris.

Cherylee's creative spirit found joy in the arts of crocheting and sewing. Her skilled hands crafted not just garments and decorations, but also tangible expressions of her love and creativity. These hobbies were a testament to her patience and attention to detail, qualities that she exhibited in every aspect of her life.
