Charlotte M. RoseFormerly of Maine, NYCharlotte M. Rose, 89, passed peacefully on Sept. 17, 2009.Charlottte is survived by her very dear friend, whom she affectionately referred to as her adopted daughter, Beverly Hoskins. Also surviving are Bevs family, several nieces and nephews and two special friends, Gloria and Avis.Charlotte was born on Oct. 12, 1919 in Maine, NY a daughter of Ivan and Elma (Cornell) Corson. She was predeceased by her husband, Warren H. Rose in 2000 and her brothers and sisters, Donald and Morris Corson, Bessie Stimpson and Laura Brigham.Charlotte was a 20 year employee of Endicott Johnson and was also employed at McGregors Egg Farm in Maine for 10 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and word puzzles.A funeral service and celebration of Charlottes life will be held at 11 am on Monday at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley with Rev. James T. Willard officiating. Interment will follow in the Maine Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the MacPherson Funeral Home on Monday from 10am until the start of the service at 11 am.
