Charles W Rabenstein

Charles W. Rabenstein, 90 years old, and a life-long resident of Berkshire, NY, passed away on May 22, 2017.Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Dorris (Couts) Rabenstein, his son and daughter-in-law: Edward and Mary Rabenstein; his sisters, Lois Stafford, Dorla Marsh and his 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Lena Rabenstein, his son, Floyd Rabenstein and brother Robert Rabenstein.Chuck was a self-employed appliance repairman for many years and many area residents relied upon him not only for repairs but also for various other maintenance work. He served on the Board of Berkshire Evergreen Cemetery for more than 30 years and will be remembered for his willingness to help others.At his request there will be no service.
