Charles W Crawn

Charles W. Crawn, 48, also known as Charlie and Chop, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital due to heart disease.Charlie is survived by his wife and best friend, Donna Crawn, his daughters, Jennifer Cole, Donna Crawn Mitchell and sons Jason Brown and Matthew Waldron. Also surviving are his 21 brothers and sisters, 18 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Charlie formerly resided in Newark Valley and Owego before moving to Lisle 6 years ago.He was a former employee of Weistmans and National Pipe. For the past 6 years he has been park manager for the Shady Maple Mobile Home Park in Lisle. Charlie was a very kind person, always willing to help others. He enjoyed attending car shows and many other activities as long as he could have his children or grandchildren with him.A Funeral Service and Celebration of Charlies life will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 22 at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley with Rev.
