Charles D. Hoyt, born January 15, 1938 went to heaven on November 22, 2022 to join his parents and many siblings and more recently his beloved son. Chuck was a proud graduate of Newark Valley, NY and entered the U.S. Marine Corp in 1958. He returned to Newark Valley to marry Loretta M. Frisbee in 1963, whom he was married to for 59 years. He leaves behind his wife, Loretta, and daughters, Rebecca L.; Bonnie (Ron) DiLorenzo; Ellie (Jason) Theurer, his sons widow Sarah, as well as his grandchildren Jacob (Rachel) Pickett, Tyler (Domanique) Pickett, and Samantha Pickett. He also leaves behind five great-grandchildren; Aanya, Carter, Troy, Lucy and Kiarra and two sisters: Ann Schultheis and Nancy Rosenberger and a brother: Tim Hoyt. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman from a very young age right up to the end, teaching his children and grandchildren to hunt and to fish. He spent many years working on heavy equipment, both running the machines as well as fixing them. Services will be held at Calvarys Love Assembly of God, Reynolds Road, Johnson City on December 8, 2022 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Marine Corp League, Post 80, Binghamton, New York or to the American Kidney Foundation.
