Cathy L. Keil

Cathy L. Keil, 72, of Owego, NY passed away on April 16, 2024 suddenly and

unexpectedly at her home.

Cathy was born on February 25, 1952, the daughter of the late William and Gladys

(Keefer) Keil. She was predeceased by her brother Ricky “Tiny” Keil.

Cathy is survived by her nephew Matthew Keil, her niece, Amanda (Chad)

Burkholder, and their children: Owen and Rayna Burkholder as well as her sister-

in-law, Judith Keil.

Cathy was a retired employee of Tioga County Department of Social Services. She

was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church, Owego and served in many

capacities there, most notably as a dedicated Church Secretary.

She was a huge hockey fan of the former Binghamton Dusters and a devoted fan

of Barry Manilow. Her feline companions also brought a great deal of joy to Cathy.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Cathy on Friday at to be

held at Zion Lutheran Church, 3917 Waverly Rd., Owego NY followed by graveside

inurnment service at Riverside Cemetery, Marshland Rd. Apalachin.
