Catherine Kovacik

Catherine Kovacik, formerly of Johnson City and Berkshire, NY and recently of West End, NC, passed away on October 29, 2020 at the age of 93. Mrs. Kovacik is survived by her loving daughter, Renee Kozak and sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas and Cindy Kovacik, Alan and Kim Kovacik; her beloved grandchildren: Wendy, Bill, John, Tom, Kim, Jennifer, Emily, Stephen, Laura, Jessica, Kelsey, Andrew, Christopher and Ashley; precious great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, among them: Richard and Gail Lucas, Bernie Lucas (wife of the late Robert Lucas). She was predeceased by her husband Thomas (2009), son-in-law, John Kozak, granddaughters, Catherine R. and Tammy L. Kozak, grandson-in-law Tom Riechers and several siblings. Mrs. Kovacik was a former beautician and for many years was an employee for Krohler Manufacturing in Binghamton. She was a loving wife and precious mother who loved her role of a homemaker--- cooking, baking and caring for her family. She also enjoyed reading poems and listening to music. Mrs. Kovacik was laid to rest with a private family service, next to her husband in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, NY assisted the family with arrangements.
